My daughter is obsessed with a particular kid's show host who wears orange and blue, so she picked these shoes out. They were comfortable and she always chose these over her other shoes. I do find the high tops to be harder to put on uncooperative toddlers than low tops, but that's not really the fault of the show. The Velcro did kinda mess up the tongue of the show over time to where we had some fraying.
These are great for him to ride his strider bike with the high top extra ankle support and the covered toes. Plus super cute! My little guy loves them.
